Fundamental to our school's ethos is the principle of sharing with yourselves the responsibility for the education of your child, in keeping you informed and involved at all times. The partnership between yourself and the school is very important and we look forward to it being a happy and very successful one.

We have a strong, caring and supportive governing body who help to foster the school's vision of caring and excellence; a very supportive Parents Association in the form of Friends of the Blake School who help in the school, raise money and contribute to the well-being of the children; and strong links with the local church and vicar helping to create the Christian and values ethos of the school.

We are very fortunate to have an attractive building and site in which to work. We set high standards for the development and maintenance of our physical working environment because we believe it helps us to provide a very secure environment giving the children confidence, questioning skills and independence to grow.
