Curriculum
Learning and Teaching
The National Curriculum lies at the heart of the education provided for our children. This is a national framework of aims and objectives upon which our teaching staff build, using their particular skills, to meet the individual requirements of all our children. We also follow the guidelines for the teaching of numeracy and literacy as outlined in the National Primary Strategy. However, our own curriculum has been put together to suit the particular needs of the children in our school and we emphasise the importance of cross-curricular links which help children to make connections between the different areas of learning.
